JOB SUMMARY/ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Basic patient chart prep - confirming identifiers, removal of unnecessary documents and document classification.
  • Direct and bulk scanning into EMR using provided scanning technologies.
  • Being dependable and showing up ahead of time and ready to work.
  • Walk the floors of the hospital, collecting paper charts for scanning
  • Medical Document type identification

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • The ideal candidate is self-motivated with great customer service skills. They should thrive in a busy environment. They should feel comfortable picking up new computer systems and software and utilizing them efficiently. Ultimately, candidates that take pride in their work and take pride in representing their company are what we look for. 
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to work independently.
  • Experience with the organization of a medical record, including prep, scan and QC or medical records
  • Experience with EMR systems (Cerner) preferred 
  • Experience with interacting with office staff and management
  • Thorough knowledge of HIPAA requirements.
  • Attention to detail
  • Maintain a professional appearance as they are representing e4 in the field.
  • M-F, ONSITE 40 hours/week
  • Availability to start around end of February 
  • Flu and Covid vaccine likely required

401(k) ELIGIBILITY:

e4health offers a retirement benefits package including 401(k) with company match. 

  • Full-time employees will be eligible to contribute to a 401(k)-retirement account after successfully completing 90 days of employment. 

  • Part-time employees will be eligible to contribute to a 401(k)-retirement account after completing 250 hours of worktime.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

Sitting, talking, hearing and near vision are required over 90% of the time. Feeling is required over 90% of the time and reaching is required about 50% of the time.  The ability to travel to field sites may be required up to 15% of the time.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS WHILE PERFORMING ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:   

Over 90% of the time is spent indoors, with protection from weather conditions. Exposure to noise levels that may be distracting or uncomfortable is present in only unusual situations. 

 

PAY RATE 

Pay rate for this position is $18hr.
